DESCRIPTION OF MINDFULNESS MEDITATION

 

Mindfulness Meditation is moment-to-moment awareness, being fully awake.

Mindfulness involves being in each moment as it is without judgment, striving or grasping. It's a relaxed state of awareness that observes both your inner world of thoughts, feelings and sensations, and the outer world of constantly changing phenomena without trying to control anything.

Each Mindfulness Meditation class will include:

?         Learning/relearning how to breath, understanding your own breathing rhythms

?         Concentrating thoughts on focused attention

?         Insight and understanding of the senses and how they can positively inform you

?         Basic understanding of the primary energy systems in the body

?         Flow Yoga

?         Guided mindfulness meditation

?         Sounding and Chanting to awaken and align body systems
